We’re gonna have to stop you right there.
Put the pen down. Stop typing into your phone. Don’t order the new exercise clothes just yet.
Do NOT make another resolution for the new year. You’re stuffing something new into an already-overcrowded life, and the chances of it growing to something meaningful are barely hovering above zero.
Why we’ve given January 1 some kind of magical power to erase all the problems of the previous year, we have no idea. But it’s time for the nonsense to stop.
Today we’re going to show you how to unclutter your life to make room for your new goals and desires ANY time of year. And you’ll have a near-certainty of achieving them. (No magic here, just practical, no-nonsense action available to every single person.)
This is a more comprehensive episode and guide than normal, so prepare yourself!
Think about what your uncluttered life could look like while you download today’s free resource in the blue button below, and then click play on the podcast above to start making it a reality.

This is What An Uncluttered Life Looks Like
Every year we make personal and professional plans, and we end up succeeding 85% of the time. It’s not because we’re smarter or more organized than you.
(Well, Warren is probably more organized than you. He’s more organized than anyone!)
The reason we succeed is because we make room for success. We unclutter our lives to make room for what we want, and over these next 2 episodes we’re going to show you how to do it, too.
At a glance, we can see how a new idea fits into our current environment. If we need to make adjustments, we know exactly what to do without stressing over it. Even huge decisions (like buying a house, taking a trip around the world, or writing a book) can happen pretty quickly because we are in tune with our environment, our needs, and how to adjust to make room for something new.
This is something you can have, too. You won’t have to depend on January 1 to imagine a new future. You can create it every single day in your uncluttered life.
The Importance of a Year-End Review
How can you move forward until you know where you are? Today’s free guide (in the blue button below) walks you through a review of the past year in detail, so we won’t rehash it all here.
At a high level: What worked? What didn’t go so well?
You had some wins, and you’ll smile as your Facebook feed, calendar, and photos remind you. These moments you were winning, enjoying life to the max and feeling great about your accomplishments.
You had some challenges, too. You didn’t live up to your ideals, or in many cases you may not have given yourself a bar to reach for in the first place.
The annual review walks you through the past year and shows you how to log it on a graph we call the DIAMOND. This is the visual representation of the amount of clutter in your life as far as TIME, MONEY, SPACE, and ENERGY.
If your diamond looks more like a blob, or even a pinpoint, then you have some uncluttering ahead of you. The good news is that this annual review is going to bullseye where you feel most overwhelmed, and your wins from the previous year are going to show you the path to get uncluttered.
Knowing where you are is half the battle, and you’ve just taken a huge step forward in uncluttering your life. Next week, you’ll pick up the pace.
This episode is one that requires action. First, download the free guide in the blue button below. Then go through the process of examining your previous year and plotting it to the DIAMOND graph.
Get the resource guide for this episode in the Resource Roundup—a collection of our best guides to help you gain more time, space, energy, and money asap!
The whole process should take 1-2 hours, a small investment in creating an uncluttered future with plenty of space, time, money, and energy for living your best life.
- Goals don’t work if you don’t first unclutter you life to give them room to succeed.
- If you aren’t measuring, you aren’t achieving. An uncluttered life is one that is well-managed, not loosey-goosey.
- Knowing where you are is half the battle. An annual review will help you see your life—and your options—clearly.
You’re not done yet! Next week we’ll share how you can use this information and your DIAMOND graph to unclutter your life in the new year. Next week’s action-packed episode will guide you through every month of the coming year. On this date a year from now, you’ll have more time, space, money, and energy than you do right now, no resolutions required. Are you ready for that? Then don’t miss episode 141.
